Lisadore - Return Policy

Dear Client,
Please Read Our Return Policy Carefully.  

1. Sales Items, Sales Corner and Pre-Order Items and Custom Orders

All Pre-Order shoes start their name with "Pre Order" plus the name of the product.
All Custom Order shoes start their name with "Custom Order" plus the name of the product.
All Sales shoes start their name with "Sales" plus the name of the product.
(Sales item can be found in all parts of our website. And there is also a part on our website called "Sales Corner" >>> https://lisadore.com/sales-corner/)
All Sales shoes/items, Sales Corner shoes, Pre Order shoes and Custom Order shoes can not be returned.

Please understand, although we want everybody to be happy, the costs & effort put into these items are not reflected in the sales-price, and thus these items come with limited or no return services. However, you can always still contact us first to ask if certain exchanges are still possible under certain conditions, but keep your expectations low.

 

2. Return Policy for people living WITHIN the European Union

Shoes and Clothes can only be returned if you informed us within 14 days after receiving then. Please contact us at shoes@lisadore.com for returning shoes and clothes.
You need to ship back the shoes directly, at your costs, to the address below. (Preferably with DHL Parcel.)
As a Extra Service we will ship you a new pair on our costs. So you can obtain your beautiful correct pair in the desired brand, color, size or heel height.
We have monthly stock updates, but in case you do not find that beautiful new pair, then your store-credit remains valid for 12 months maximum.
If however you do not wish to receive our new beautiful shoes then the order can be refunded minus the real shipping costs that we paid DHL or PostNL for shipping you the shoes and minus Euro 5,- restocking fee and transaction costs.

Important: Shoes can only be returned when they are unworn and undamaged. Shoes can only be tried on, on a carpet. And they should only receive your highest care. The Comme il Faut shoes with a Golden Sole can only be tried on, not walked or turned on, as the golden foil vanished on the part that is walked on.

3. Return Policy for people living OUTSIDE the European Union
(This includes UK/Swiss/Norway too)

For clients living outside the EU, we only accept returns shipped through our own operator / DHL Express contract.
This has five major advantages:

  • Return parcels are picked up from your location by DHL Express, at your convenient moment.
  • For most people the return shipment costs will be much cheaper then local shippers under our DHL contract.
  • Shoes do not get lost anymore on their way back leading to all sorts of huge problems.
  • All horrendous troubles at EU-Customs and Dutch Postal Services are finally avoided.
    (We often pay an absurd additional Euro 80,- to EU-Customs to receive back our own orders, Parcels are getting lost all the time, and the whole process often takes weeks).
  • The return process is super fast and accurate.


Shoes and clothes can only be returned within 14 days after receiving then. Please contact us at shoes@lisadore.com for returning shoes and clothes.
After contacting us please purchase the DHL Express Return label for your region here: https://lisadore.com/special-products/
We then book your Return Flight in DHL Express. After the booking you automatically receive the DHL shipment codes by DHL email that you need to stick to the parcel. (Out of Area locations will lead to extra costs).  You can then contact DHL and arrange the pickup moment at your location, when this suits you.
Important: You must use the smallest possible packaging for returning shoes/clothes, otherwise DHL charges double prices and this will be deducted from your balance. For single pair orders you can use the yellow DHL box that you received the shoes in. For more pairs please contact us what to do, the box must be packed to an absolute absolute minimal size, as the shipping costs are beyond absurd these days.
Important: Shoes can only be returned when they are unworn, undamaged. Please handle the shoes with only the highest care. Shoes can only be tried on, on a carpet.
The Comme il Faut shoes with a Golden Sole can only be tried on, not walked on, as the golden foil vanished on the part that is walked on.
You can select any other pair, heel height, size or color. We pay up to 30,- Euro for shipping you new pairs, as an Extra Lisadore Service. If the shipping costs are higher we will ask you to pay the shipping difference. The shipping costs are so high these days that, after 15 years of top-level Return Service, we can not continue offering this highest service level for returns anymore, so we ask a little for your contribution.
If you do not wish to receive new shoes then the order can be refunded minus the real shipping costs that we paid DHL or PostNL for shipping you the goods, and minus Euro 10,- restocking fee and transaction costs.


4. Time Frames

All given time frames on our website are average estimates. We base these on our experience but Production time and Shipping time can vary due to all havoc in the world, and the after-effects of government restrictions and demands. Please understand we were faced impossible demands during the covid hysteria resulting still in an ever increasing amount of limitations in which to operate.

6. Pre-Order / Custom Made Shoes

The given time frame for Custom made shoes and Pre Order shoes is 5 to 8 weeks. Most orders are shipping within this time frame. 
Sometimes with certain seasons we get waves of pre orders and custom orders so delays are possible. Post covid we also live in an entirely different world production wise, please understand we are faced with unprecedented demand. But we do not do half work, so if it takes takes one or two weeks more then that's because we care for you shoes.

7. Handcrafted Shoes!

The shoes you are about to purchase are handcrafted shoes.
That means you are buying the highest quality, highest labor intensive shoes.
These are unique genuine authentic hand made shoes made by real craftsmen with real lives and real jobs. Hours and hours of effort and hard labor work are punt into making these shoes and only the best and most experienced shoe-makers can do. All our shoes are hand cut, stitched, hammered, glued, drilled, stapled, re-glued, and re-hammered together. This beautiful process takes several days where the shoes are born into existence.

PLEASE UNDERSTAND We are not Amazon nor Alibaba. We do not sell 'perfect looking' Asian machine mass produced shoes where labor and materials are abused. Our shoes are made to dance on, they are never made to look 'perfect'. We sell shoes that will contain 1500 imperfections, that is why they are so good, made for your feet and made for the dance floor.
